Debate on Xertz.

Challenges start where your members already meet — call out an opponent, or post that you are looking for a round and let one find you. Xertz handles private seat access, live video, the round clock, and getting a judge to tell you what to work on.

Install Xertz

Installation stays under a server administrator's control. Xertz asks only to view channels, send messages, and manage its own access role.

From challenge to round
  1. Add Xertz

A server administrator installs the bot. That is the whole setup.

  2. Challenge/debate

You already know who you want. Call them out on a resolution.

  3. Or look for a round/findround

You do not have an opponent yet. Post the resolution and side you want, and the server can see you are free.

  4. Confirm

Both debaters commit in Discord and receive private seat codes.

  5. Debate

Two seats, one room, one synchronized clock. AFF and NEG, on the record.

  6. Get feedback/judge

If both debaters agree, a volunteer judge reads the round and writes back what worked and what to change. No winner, no ballot.

Built into every round
  • Private seat codes that expire and can only claim their intended seat
  • A synchronized clock built around the Lincoln-Douglas speaking order
  • An open board for finding an opponent, and a private room once you match
  • A focused 1v1 experience for both debaters
  • Written feedback from a volunteer judge, shared only if both debaters agree

Optional transcription is open to approved servers and always takes both debaters' consent. Write to support@xertz.app.
